Overview

Bill Capture helps you scan Polish invoices, utility bills, and receipts on iPhone, keep a searchable archive with on-device OCR, and — when you want accounting entries — send documents to FinanceFlow on your Mac via Capture Link.

Two modes: use the app alone (no Mac, no account) or pair once with FinanceFlow on the same Wi‑Fi to push PDFs into your local intake queue.

Offline archive (no Mac required)

Everything below runs on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded to WindyFarm.

Scan with VisionKit, camera, gallery, or import PDF from Files / Mail (Share Extension)
On-device OCR: vendor, amount, invoice number, due dates, energy/media fields
Search, tags, unpaid filter, due-date reminders (optional Calendar + local notifications)
Optional Face ID lock; export / restore metadata JSON from Settings → Data

When FinanceFlow is running on a Mac on the same Wi‑Fi, Bill Capture can send document images or PDFs plus OCR preview fields to your Mac. WindyFarm does not receive these transfers.

In FinanceFlow: OCR settings → Bill Capture — LAN → show the pairing QR code
On iPhone: Settings → Capture Link → scan QR
Scan or open a bill → Send to FinanceFlow
On Mac: Documents → Triage → Create bill

Local only: Capture Link uses Bonjour / HTTP on your LAN. iOS asks for Local Network permission before discovery or send.

Privacy

No WindyFarm account is required for the free archive. Bill images are not hosted on WindyFarm servers — they stay on your iPhone unless you send them via Capture Link (to your Mac) or optional iCloud under your Apple ID.

FAQ

Do I need FinanceFlow on a Mac?: Only for Capture Link and creating accounting bills. The offline archive works without a Mac.
Is my data uploaded to the cloud?: Not to WindyFarm. Scans stay on your iPhone unless you send them via Capture Link (to your Mac) or optional iCloud (your Apple ID private container).
Which documents are supported?: Polish invoices, receipts, utility bills (energy, water, gas), KSeF-style labels, multi-page PDF.
Free or paid?: Bill Capture is free at launch.
